Redevelopment of an existing Terrace in Heritage Conservation Area, Glebe
Hawes and Swan Planning provided town planning advice and prepared the planning documentation for the redevelopment of an existing single storey terrace located in the heritage conservation area of Glebe. The terrace itself was constructed in 1910.
The primary role of Hawes and Swan Planning was to prepare the Statement of Environmental Effects and prepare a clause 4.6 variation to the City of Sydney’s height control. The development has a number of complexities given its heritage significance and the necessity to ensure the dwelling could be maintained and lived in for future generations to enjoy.
